Flangeless Fittings-Data Sheet
Flangeless fittings are key components in laboratory setups, consisting of a nut and a ferrule. Designed specifically for applications in chromatography, biotechnology, and analytical instruments, these fittings are made from premium materials such as PP, PEEK, and PVDF, ensuring durability, chemical resistance, and optimal performance in demanding environments. Our flangeless fittings provide excellent sealing performance to prevent leaks.
PP (Polypropylene)
Thermal Performance: Withstands up to 120°C without deformation (under no external force); becomes brittle below -20°C; suitable for disinfection and sterilization at 100°C.
Chemical Stability: Resistant to acids, alkalis, salts, alcohols, phenols, aldehydes, ketones, and most organic solvents.
Other Features: Non-toxic, odorless, food-grade material; excellent surface hardness and scratch resistance.
Recommended Use Temperature: Below 65°C.
PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone)
Core Advantages: High hardness, minimal thermal expansion/contraction, excellent fastening properties, pressure resistance up to 5.2 MPa, mechanical strength comparable to alloys, hydrolysis resistance, corrosion resistance, anti-aging, low flammability, non-toxic, and odorless.
High-Temperature Resistance: Load heat deformation temperature up to 316°C; instantaneous use up to 300°C; long-term heat resistance over 250°C
Self-Lubricating Properties: Excellent sliding characteristics, ideal for low-friction and wear-resistant applications.
Chemical Resistance: Only dissolved or damaged by concentrated sulfuric acid and concentrated nitric acid.
PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride)
Thermal: stable to 150°C; sterilizable/steam-cleanable 135–150°C; tough at -40°C.
Chemical: excellent resistance to acids, bases, oxidizers, halogens and most solvents; vulnerable only to a few strong polar reagents (e.g., fuming H₂SO₄) at high T.
Other: FDA-grade,n-toxic, high surface hardness, scratch/wear resistant, UV/radiation resistant, self-extinguishing.
Use temp: <120°C (long-term up to 150°C depending on load).
